TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please be advise that listed below are the guidelines on which this and all future events presented by us, Film-Events will adhere to.

General Terms and Conditions

1. Admission is at ticket holder's risk. The organisers of the event, and the venue shall not be liable for any loss,     injury or damage substained with the premises.
2. You are responsable for your own belongings. We will not accept any responsibility for lost or stolen items.
3. Food, drink and accommodation is not included in the ticket price.
4. Registration only via the webshop of the convention organisers.
5. Travel is not included in the ticket fee. It is the responsibility of each attendee to make their way to the     convention venue in adequate time. The organisers of the event, are not liable for any delays or
    non-attendance resulting from delayed or cancelled transportation.
6. You are fully responsible for reserving your own accommodation. The codes we mention on our website for     accommodations or other facilities must always be used. These codes have been agreed between third     parties and the event organisers and must be respected in order to benefit from it.
7. The organisers of the event, are not responsible for unissued visas to enter New Zealand. If you have been     choosen to be a volunteer it is still your own responsibilty to obtain the correct visa to enter and work as a     volunteer at the convention in New Zealand.

Ticketing, Seating and Cancellation Policy.

1. Purchase of tickets to an event indicates acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as advised on this website. These Terms and Conditions also apply to venue staff, volunteers, event organisers staff, freelance hirees, retailers, media representatives, reporters. Attendance of the event in any capacity constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. All Terms and Conditions apply unless Film-Events specifically advise otherwise in writing.

2. Tickets will be mailed as soon as possible after the purchase, either by mail or by registered post. However if you purchase close to the start of the event and mailing would be no more possible in order for you to receive them in time (especially when you live outside New Zealand), the tickets will be held for collection at the door. You can collect them showing your photo ID and your receipt (proof of payment).
Should your tickets not arrive prior to the event, or are delayed for any reason, also here photo ID and your receipt will be required to enter the event and may be presented at the door for that purpose and to collect your tickets. Failure of tickets to arrive does not constitute a breach of these Terms and Conditions and does not warrant a refund, as entry can be made with your receipt and photo ID.

3. ID and e-mailed confirmation will be required to collect your tickets. Group tickets booked together will be mailed out to, or must be collected by, the individual who place the booking.

4. You must carry your ticket at all time and display on request. Failure to do so will prevent you from accessing the events.

5. You ticket will show your seating number. Seats are issued on the basis of the date you booked and are applicable for only certain tickets.

6. Tickets purchased at the door, may be at a higher price.
6.1 : All ticket prices are subject to change, please order as early as possible.

7. We reserve the right to refuse ticket sales to individuals or to impose conditions on the sale or means of payment of tickets.

8. Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
8-1 : In the case where the event is postponed the tickets will automatically be transferred to the newly announced convention dates. If due to event postponement ticket prices should rise, there will be no additional charge.
Should you be unable to attend the event on the newly announced dates, your ticket will only be refunded subject legimate reason and proof must be given. The event organisers, will consider a refund on a case by case basis.
Also if you find yourself with exceptional circumstances meaning you can no longer attend the event, you need to contact the event organisers who will also here consider a refund on a case by case basis.
8-2 : Change of advertised guests due to work commitments or other circumstances does not qualify for ticket refunds. Please note that every effort will be done to replace the guests.
8-3 : The event organisers reserve the right to change event dates in order to best suit the majority of the guests and attendees. As tickets are non-refundable should a guest cancel their appearance at an event, it is advisable not to purchase tickets based solely on the appearance of one guest, unless the entire event resolves around that guest's appearance only.
8-4 : If you are a "No-Show" on the date of the event and have made no effort to notify us that you cannot attend, no credit whatsoever will be offered. Again refund will be considered on a case by case basis as already stipulated above.
8-5 : No partial refund will be given for unused days (ex. if you attend on Saturday, but cannot attend on Sunday, no refund will be given for the unused Sunday portion.)
8-6 : As already stipulated attendees are responsible to make their own way to event locations. The event organisers are not responsible for any transit costs to events and will not reimburse said costs in case of event postponement, cancellation, or change of venue. In the event of cancellations or date changes the event organisers are not responsible for patrons' costs involving travel or hotel accomodations or any other non convention ticket expenses. In the event of change of venue the event organisers will endeavour to obtain a new venue within a reasonable distance of the original venue for the attendees' convenience, but make no guarantees in this regard. Up to date details for the event will be made available on this website, but attendees are responsible to ensure that they are fully aware of venue, price, date and any other details pertaining to the event. The event organisers cannot be held responsible for failure of attendees to obtain up to date event details prior to the event.

9. By attending the event, you waive any personal or property rights for your likeness appearing in either still photographs or DVD recordings by the event organisers or other entities, for either promotional purposes or event DVD release. By attending the event you agree to allow your image to be used on our website and in news documentaries or stories, either filmed by the event organisers or other entities.

10. The event organisers assumes no responsibility for typographical errors or inaccurate information provided by convention venues. All dates, venues, guests are considered tentative and subject to change. Check back frequently for updates.

11. All tickets are one-time use only.

12. GST included or not will be listed on the event page.

Video & Audio Recording and Photo taking policy.

1. Video cameras and audio equipment are not permitted within the convention venue. Anyone caught recording either via video or audio means (this includes digital recording devices on mobile phones) during the guest on stage appearances or within the dealers rooms or wherever quests show up, will receive one warning only. A second infraction will result in the attendee being removed from the event with no refund of their ticket.

2. Photo taking Policy : We know that taking photos makes the convention even more fun, so we think it is a good idea to share our photo taking policy with you. That way you can prepare before you arrive at the convention. In de auditorium, photo taking is encouraged, but only from your seat. It is unfair to run up to the stage and block the view of others who have paid for reserved seats in front of you. Even if there are empty seats, patrons must sit in the seats they paid for to be fair to everyone. Due to fire marshall regulations everyone must be seated during performances. Also please be courteous to your neighbours when taking pictures.
Photo taking is not allowed during autographing sessions nor during the photo ops. Only those who have autograph tickets may come up to get autographs. Same goes for the photo ops tickets, only those who have those tickets are allowed to enter the photo ops room and get their photo with the celebrity.
At special events photo taking is encouraged when the guests arrive, but only from your seat. You only can come closer when the event organisers tell you it is possible, but even then you only can come to a certain distance stipulated and announced by the event organisers. After a sufficient time for all to get their photos we ask that your cameras be placed down so the celebrities can enjoy their time with you. We thank you for understanding the need to have these few rules so everyone is safe and has fun.

3. Upon registration you agree on the fact that there might be taken video, photo and/or sound material.

4. No filming allowed is allowed at the event without prior written permission of the event organisers.

5. Usage of recorded material for economic or commercial reasons is only allowed when given the written approval by the event organiser.

6. A professional photograph session will be held with the guests in a separate room reserved for the photo ops. Photograph opportunities are available as per event page. Please note these are limited. Personal photos of the guests are also strictly forbidden during the professional photograph session.

7. Photography can be prohibited during special events if the management of the guest or the guest himself request this. This will be announced when applicable, either on the website or at the event itself. Anyone caught using a camera, or any other device, such as mobile phones, to take pictures will receive one warning only. A second infraction will result in the attendee being removed from the event with no refund of their ticket.

8. Please note that all the photographs taken are for personal use only and not for commercial purposes.

Credit card tranactions and other payment options.

All tickets or other items purchased via any payment option will incur a transaction fee, that will be added to the total of all items purchased and will be reflected in the receipt forwarded to the ticket purchaser.

Autographs

This is the chance to receive in-person autographs from your favorite celebrities. Please note that in case you have a particular autograph as part of your ticket package and have autograph ticket(s) for a second or more signatures.You can have all your signing done at once when you first go up to the celebrity. Autographs are done in a non-rushed comfortable manner.
Attendees must bring an item for celebrations to sign. You can bring something from home or purchase a photo in the vendors room. Please feel free to purchase as many autograph tickets of a particular celebrity as you want.
Guest appear one day of the convention, therefor their autograph session take place that same day, except in very rare occasions which will be announced then. If you are not attending all days of this convention it is wise to wait until specific days of appearance are announced before purchasing autographs. You must have an entry ticket to the convention to get an autograph.

To ensure each attendee has the opportunity to receive an autograph, you will be called by the row in which you are seated.

Autographs are at the price listed on the specific event page. Gst included or not included will be listed aswell on the event page. Cash only unless pre-purchased, each whether you choose to have a personal item (that must be approved by staff) autograph or purchase a photograph from the photo table.

Be advised that when you obtain an autograph, this is for your personal use only. Only the original autograph may be sold on. Reprints and facsimiles of the original are an infringement of copyright and may not be sold for profit.

Photographs

This is the chance to get a photo with your favorite celebritie(s). Photo ops are done in a non-rushed comfortable manner. Please feel free to purchase as many photo op tickets for a particular celebrity as you want.

If you are not attending all days of this convention it is wise to wait until specific days of appearance are announced before purchasing photo op tickets. Photo op tickets do not include entry to the convention. You must have an entry ticket to the convention to enter the photo op areas. Due to security considerations and guest concerns we cannot faciliate the giving of gifts to guests at the photo op sessions. Limit of two fans per photo-op. There will be no exceptions. Two fans can be in the photo op for the price of one photo op ticket.

Be advised that when you obtain a professional photograph from the event, this is for your personal use only. Only the original photograph may be sold on. Reprints and facsimiles of the original are an infringement of copyright and may only be obtained from the official event photographer.

It might be possible that jpg will be purchasable either after the photo ops or later on online. That will be announced in time.

Gifts

No gifts are to be presented to the guests whilst they are on stage. All gifts are to presented in the autograph line, once they have been approved by the staff.

Contraband.

1. Weapons of any kind, real or replica, weapon-like objects, object resembling a weapon or pyrotechnic objects (such as fireworks) are strictly prohibited. This also included custome parts. Anyone caught with prohibited objects will have to surrender the object and especially refusal to do so will result in immediate expulsion from the convention and possible report to respective authorities. No ticket refund will be given.

There will be no exceptions to this policy.

2. Children under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by a full paying adult. Attendees aged 16 or over are classed as adults.

3. Tickets are non-transferable for security reasons. We require the name of ALL ticket holders at the time of purchase.

4. Alcohol is not permitted in the convention area - with the exception being the special events and will only be provided to those over the legal drinking age. Please note certain special events may not permit alcohol at all. Please revert to the individual events for specific alcohol policies for those events.

Any persons who are intoxicated at the event will be removed.

5. Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas. This is a non-smoking event.

6. The organizers of the event reserve the right to refuse entry to the event for any reason.

Auctions

In case auctions take place the following guidelines are applicable.

1. All items for the auction will be displayed in the theatre before the action starts. Should you have any enquiries address these with the staff members present.

2. All bids will be take seriously and those placing false bids may be removed from the event without refund of any ticket.

3. Winning bidders will be identified by staff via their ticket number and will be required to immediately claim the item they have won at the auction.

You will be required to pay in full to receive the item you have won.

Special Events

Meeting your stars at the convention is fun. Special events are open to all ages, but alcohol will under no circumstance be served to anyone who is underage. Further a special event is a relaxed occasion, for everyone, therefore there are to be no requests for autographs or photo shoots during this time. Please respect this and have this occasion enjoyable for everyone, including the celebrity.

Participation and Behaviour

1. You must at all times behave in a manner respectful to our guests, accomodation staff, volunteer staff, fellow attendees.

2. Excessive use of obscene language, abusive behavior, or threatening behavior directed to any other event attendee or guest is not conducive to a fun environment and attendees may be ejected from the event. If you are removed from the event you will not be entitled to any refund.

3. Please remember to be patient while waiting in lines. Everyone is as eager to interact with the guests as you are and being rude to other attendees or volunteer staff won't get you anywhere.

4. When asking questions, please be prepared and think out your question in advance so you know what you want to say. Do not take up valuable question time by rambling, try to get straight to your question.

5. Please do not ask quests about personal issues and avoid political or religious questions.

Guests

Some info cannot be repeated more often. Here you find some important info about the guests, which you can find back under the other mentioned conditions.

1. All guests are contracted to appear and all convention contracts specify that appearances are tentative and subject to change as film and television work demands take precedence as can a personal conflict (as with all conventions and high-profile celebrities). Our event will take place whether a specific guest cancels and we will try to book a replacement. Therefore we can not issue ticket refunds if a particular guest does not fulfill their appearance contract. Ofcourse we will refund separately purchased photo ops and autograph tickets for a guest if they cancel.
Therefore also guests mentioned on the event page are not to be considered to appear for certain.

2. Guests may refuse to sign unofficial/unapproved items.

3. Guests may have merchandise such as photographs on sale and charge for extra signatures.

4. We have to waith for guests to give us their arrival information, therefore we can not always tell you in advance when these particular autograph sessions and photo shoot sessions will occur until the convention schedule is posted at this website a few days before the event.

5. All guests understand the desire of the fans for them to be at the convention and will do everything possible to be present. However, please understand prior to purchasing your tickets that your are buying a ticket for the event itself and not for specific guest appearances(s).

Compliance

1. Any persons found not be in compliance with the terms and conditions of this event will be removed from the venu withou hesitation. There will also be no refund provided.
Should the issue escalate the event organisers will not hesitate to alert the venues security or the police should the matter be deemed serious enough.

2. A failure by the event organisers to provide or a delay by the event organisers in providing any goods or services purchased from the event organisers as part of a ticket, or separately at an event, which is caused by acts of God, strikes, boycott or industrial action or dispute, action in compliance with any act, regulation, ordinance, by law or permit or with any lawful direction, order or request of any responsible authority or court, or any other cause whatsoever reasonably beyond the control of the event organisers does not give rise to any claim by the client or cause the event organisers to be in breach of these terms and conditions.

3. All or part of any provision of these terms that is illegal or unenforceable, may be severed from these terms or modified to the extent it is necessary to make the remainder of the provisions and the terms enforceable.

4. The event organisers reserve the right to make any changes whatsoever to the event owing to unforeseen or unavailable circumstances.

5. Admission is at the ticket holders's risk. The event organiser, promoter and venue shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained within the premises.

6. In case this site includes links to third party sites which are not related to the event organisers and of which the event organisers have no control or interest. The event organisers have no control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links does not indicate any relationship between the event organisers and that third party or any endorsement by the event organisers of that third party, its site or the products or services which it is advertising on this site.

7. Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, the event organisers take no responsability for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical or other issues beyond our control.

8. This site may include third party content which is subject to that third party's terms and conditions of use. The event organisers claim no ownership of , or relation to, this third party content (including images, movies and tv shows).

9. The event organisers will have no responsability or liability in relation to any loss or damage which you incur, including damage to your software or hardware, arising from your use of or acces to this site.

10. Users will not use this site for any purpose or in any way which is unlawful.

11. These Terms and Conditions ar subject to change without notice.
